• In the week gone by Index was down by near to 1%. It was 3rd consecutive declining week
• In the short term index has formed a range of 16800 to 17200
• A recent state of the market is sideways to negative as it is trading below moving averages.
• Index has potential support at the 16400 to 16500 range
• From a sector perspective, defensive sectors like FMCG and pharma showed some strength whereas IT and realty continued to decline
• This week midcap and smallcap witnessed more selling pressure as compared to large cap
